Genuine Sur-Ron chain guard for the Light Bee X and LBX, purchased direct from the Sur-Ron factory and supplied with the correct fitting screws. It encloses the chain run, keeping mud and grit off the chain and — the better argument for fitting one — trouser legs, bootlaces and fingers away from a moving chain and sprocket.
They crack, usually from a rock strike or from being levered off during a chain job, and once cracked most people take them off and never put them back. The screws being included matters more than it sounds: they are the parts that vibrate loose and disappear, and they are the reason a lot of chain guards end up cable-tied on.
